Uzbekistan has introduced a 30-day visa-free regime for citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman starting June 1. The country also designated Saturdays and Sundays of the 2nd week of each month as "Family and Community Travel Days."

From June 1, a visa-free regime will be introduced for citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman for a period of 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan. This is stated in the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated May 15, "On measures to increase the role and importance of tourism in the economy by sharply increasing the flow of tourists and rapidly expanding the scope of tourist services in 2025-2026."

The decree also set the following as the main target indicators for the tourism sector by the end of 2025, including:

organizing trips of 15.8 million foreign tourists to the regions of the republic, bringing the export of tourism services to 4 billion US dollars;
Organizing trips to the regions for 40 million local tourists through the development of domestic tourism, and launching the activities of an additional 378 tour operators.
From 2025, regional programs for the development of tourism for the following year will be developed by November 30 of each year.

Starting in 2025, International Tourism Week will be held annually in the third week of November.

From June 2025, to implement the "Travel around Uzbekistan!" program, Saturdays and Sundays of the 2nd week of each month will be designated as "Family and Community Travel Day"
