According to preliminary information, most of the dead were buried alive. Witnesses said the bodies of the dead were mixed with construction debris, leading to suspicions that the Israelis tried to cover up all traces. Israel, in its own way, denies all the accusations and claims that the burials were carried out by the Palestinians themselves.
