The World Bank reported that 3,042 people die prematurely a year under the influence of fine dust in the air in Tashkent, and the damage to public health is estimated at 488.4 million dollars. The main polluters are heating systems, construction, transport and industry.
160 air-polluting enterprises in three districts of Tashkent, including concrete, flour and cloth-gas production workshops, were warned to install dust-gas cleaning equipment.
