150,000 trees were planted against desertification in "Saisad Taif", one of the largest gardens in the Makkah region and one of the oldest in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The greening activities are part of the national program to plant 10 billion trees, one of the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative.
