sacrifice

According to the Hanafi school of thought, it is not obligatory for a traveler to slaughter a sacrifice. This is because Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) did not slaughter a sacrifice while traveling. In this regard, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "There is no Friday prayer or slaughter for a traveler." This is because slaughtering a sacrifice while traveling imposes a number of hardships on a person.

For the sacrifice to be acceptable to Allah, we must perform it correctly. The believer who performs the sacrifice performs this act once a year and for the pleasure of his Lord. Therefore, performing this act in a manner that is worthy of the One who accepts it reflects our sincerity and devotion.

Today, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, 1,500 head of cattle were sacrificed with the participation of the Religious Affairs Department and Religious Foundation of Turkey (TDJ). For information, Sudan, a country of 50 million people, has been suffering from civil war for a year, 15 thousand civilians have died, 25 million people are suffering from hunger and 11 million people have left their homes. The international community, which is shouting about the war in Ukraine, turns a blind eye to the current situation in Sudan.
