A museum called the "Residence of the Governor of the Western Regions" has opened in the Chinese city of Bugur. This is another propaganda tool aimed at justifying Beijing's occupation of East Turkestan. It is noteworthy that Chinese propagandists put forward the unfounded idea that "East Turkestan has belonged to the Chinese for centuries" at the museum's opening ceremony.
