During his high-level visit to China, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan did not say anything about Uyghurs' rights being violated. He reacted only in sign language, including wearing a neckband in the color of the flag of East Turkestan and calling the cities of Kashgar and Urumqi the bridge connecting China and the Turkish world.
