Since the beginning of ground operations in occupied Gaza on October 27, 2023, the Israeli military has withdrawn from several areas in the north of the sector, as well as from the northwest of Gaza City (the administrative center of the exclave).

In more than 100 days, nine thousand rockets were fired from Gaza and two thousand from Lebanon in the direction of Israel. In turn, during this period, 9,000 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip and 2,000 from Lebanon.
