Representatives of the Palestinian Hamas movement and the Fatah party signed an agreement in Beijing to end decades of conflict and strengthen Palestinian unity. In addition to Hamas and Fatah, representatives of 12 other Palestinian movements participated in the talks between the Palestinian groups that started on July 21.

The Israeli Air Force attacked more than 50 targets in Rafah overnight after Hamas agreed to a ceasefire proposal in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military announced that it was carrying out "surgical strikes" in the eastern part of Rafah. The publication added that as a result of the bombing, about 100 civilians were killed, and a large number of women and children were injured.

Hamas has accepted the ceasefire terms put forward by Egypt and Qatar for peace in Gaza. The agreement includes 3 phases lasting 42 days. And Israel decided to continue the attack on Rafah.
