Earlier, in accordance with the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, representatives of various fields were awarded honorary titles, orders, and medals in honor of the thirty-fourth anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.

Today, August 27, a ceremony to present these awards was held in Tashkent. In particular, Mirziyoyev presented the "Highest Degree Imam Bukhari" Order to the Chairman of the Muslim Board, Mufti Nuriddin Kholiknazarov.

It is noted that the mufti was awarded for his many years of service to strengthening the independence of Uzbekistan and the prosperity of the homeland.

The chief imams of the Khorezm and Andijan regions, the city of Tashkent, and the imam of the Minor mosque in the capital were also awarded the "Imam Bukhari" Order.
