It is said that pilgrims will be transported to Medina from international airports in Tashkent, Samarkand, Namangan, Karshi, Termez, Navoi, Urgench and Nukus. In this phase, 6,267 pilgrims are expected to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.
Return flights, that is, from Jeddah to various cities in Uzbekistan, will be operated from June 12 to 29. At this stage, 15,150 pilgrims are planned to return to the country.
Uzbekistan Airways is taking all necessary measures to ensure safe, comfortable and efficient transportation of pilgrims.
It should be noted that earlier the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan announced that preparations for the Hajj are still in full swing. It was noted that all pilgrims have undergone medical examinations, vaccinations have been carried out, group leaders and doctors have been assigned, practical training has been organized before the trip, and all documents have been formalized.
