A young man from Bukhara who was recruited into the Russian army was imprisoned
According to Kun.uz, the Romitan District Court found JIB guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (recruitment). He was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
The fact is that AR, who was born in the Romitan district in 1993, was arrested for a crime committed on Russian territory and placed in a detention center in Samara. After that, during a recruitment campaign for the Russian armed forces, he agreed to participate in the war against Ukraine.
He was registered in a military unit in Samara on July 18, 2024, received a military ID and the rank of private. After that, he was sent to Lugansk along with other conscripts.
AR received military training in the Russian army and actively participated in the war against Ukraine. On July 27, 2024, he was injured in a missile attack on a military base and taken to the hospital.
He is said to have fully confessed to his guilt in court.
