A new eco-city called "Kemin City" will be built in Kyrgyzstan
The Kyrgyz government has decided to build an environmentally friendly and modern city in the country. President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on this, RIA Novosti reports.
The project will be implemented in the Kemin district of Chui region, and the new city will be called "Kemin City." According to the presidential decree, state agencies must prepare a concept for the city by the beginning of the summer, with more than 350 hectares of land allocated for it.
According to reports, Kemin City will be built using environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies. The project plans to introduce green energy, modern infrastructure, and innovative transport systems.
The construction of the new city is expected to have a significant impact on the economy and urban development of Kyrgyzstan. The government emphasizes that the new city will be attractive not only to local residents, but also to investors and tourists.
In recent years, the Kyrgyz government has been implementing a number of urban development and infrastructure projects. The Kemin City project may be one of the largest initiatives in this direction.
It should be recalled that earlier, a member of the Kyrgyz parliament proposed moving the capital to the Issyk-Kul region in order to solve the problems of air pollution and traffic congestion.
