Trump wants to reopen Alcatraz prison, a symbol of oppression
The head of the White House has ordered the reopening of the historic Alcatraz prison in an expanded and modernized form as part of the country's fight against crime.
According to RBK. Novosti, with this approach, Trump is seeking to ensure order and security by isolating the most dangerous and brutal criminals from society.
He commented on this on his social media page as follows :
"For too long, America has suffered at the hands of dangerous, vicious, and repeat offenders who endanger our society. They bring nothing but suffering to society. It is time for us to be a serious and determined nation again, putting the most dangerous criminals behind bars and ensuring the safety of innocent citizens. We will no longer tolerate serial killers spreading blood and chaos on our streets. That is why I have directed the Federal Bureau of Prisons, in collaboration with the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security, to restore and operate Alcatraz to modern standards."
He noted that this initiative plays an important role in restoring the rule of law and strengthening the principles of justice.
For your information, Alcatraz prison, located on an island off the coast of San Francisco, operated from 1934 to 1963, and it was here that the famous criminal Al Capone served his sentence.
The prison was known for its maximum security system. It was officially closed in 1963 and has since been used mainly as a historical and tourist attraction.
