US President Donald Trump plans to sign an executive order on "Combating Anti-Semitism" on January 29. According to this document, foreigners, including students, who participated in demonstrations in support of Palestine will be expelled from the country.

The White House said the administration would take strong action against threats and violence against Jews. Trump said he would use all federal resources to crack down on Hamas supporters on campuses.

"I'm warning foreigners who participated in the protests: we will find you and deport you in 2025," Trump said.

Lawyers consider this decree unconstitutional because it restricts freedom of speech and the right to peaceful protest.

A Washington court also temporarily blocked Trump's order to freeze government grants, saying the decision could have a "disproportionate effect" and could cause "serious harm."

The next court hearing will be held on February 3.
