The Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah, UAE, has developed the "Minbar" app that translates sermons in mosques in real time, Gulf News reported.

The application is designed for visitors who do not speak Arabic and provides accurate and fast translation of the meaning of sermons into 40 languages. The system has been successfully tested at Al-Maghfirah Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Sharjah.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is trying to bring the latest technologies in the field of religion to a wide audience. The "Minbar" application is available to users for free on Google Play and the App Store.

This innovation is expected to facilitate mutual understanding between people of different nationalities and contribute to the widespread spread of Islamic teachings.
