Russia is checking those who attend Friday prayers
Yesterday, December 13, Friday prayers at the Reutov mosque near Moscow were detained by security forces for more than an hour.
According to witnesses, worshippers were not allowed to leave the mosque building, several of them became ill, and people were angry and filmed the incident and posted it online.
"We have received complaints from Muslims who were detained for more than an hour at a local mosque in Reutov for no reason. They said they felt bad in the current situation," the International Association of Muslim Lawyers said in a telegram channel.
It was added that security officers checked the documents of all those who attended the congregational prayer, and took some of them to the police station.
