President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Tajikistan on a state visit
A Tajik-Iranian conference on investment and tourism is being held in Dushanbe as part of the state visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkyan to Tajikistan. The visit is scheduled for January 15-17, and includes high-level meetings, the signing of cooperation agreements, and business, scientific, and literary events.
The Iranian delegation includes more than 120 businessmen, including Minister of Cultural Heritage Reza Salehi Amiri and Head of the Department of Trade and Industry Samad Hasanzoda. The events are attended by senior officials from various sectors of the two countries. The conference is expected to sign several documents aimed at developing joint cooperation.
Pezeshkyan began his visit to Dushanbe with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Somoni monument. It is also planned to hold high-level talks with President Emomali Rahmon and sign new agreements to expand bilateral cooperation. The visit will serve to further strengthen economic, cultural and tourism ties between Iran and Tajikistan.
