Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Palutskas has announced that the country will review its migration policy.

He emphasized the priority of attracting labor from culturally closer countries.

According to the minister, people from certain countries are prone to radicalization. Therefore, the number of migrants from Central Asia may decrease in the future.

According to an analysis by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, in recent years, more Uzbek migrants have been traveling to European Union countries to work than before. In particular, the number of trips to Poland, Lithuania, Germany, and Latvia for employment purposes has increased.
