Large protests against Trump's policies took place in the US
On April 5, large-scale protests against Donald Trump's policies took place across the United States. The demonstrations, which spanned all 50 states, were among the largest seen during Trump's presidency.
According to SNN, more than 1,400 rallies were organized across the country, with an estimated 600,000 citizens participating.
Large protests were held in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, and Washington, D.C. Activists protested corruption, billionaire interference in politics, Elon Musk's influence in government, and mass layoffs of civil servants.
"This is not just a protest, this is a hostile takeover of democracy," protest organizers insist.
Amid the protests, Democratic Congressman Al Green announced that he would launch an impeachment inquiry against Trump within 30 days, arguing that Trump is "unfit" to be president of the United States.
