Israel denies reports of Russian weapons transfers to Kiev
The Israeli Foreign Ministry has called Ukraine's statements about the transfer of Russian-made weapons from Israel unfounded, RIA Novosti reported.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Israel previously reported that the issue of transferring the seized weapons to Ukraine was discussed on January 21 between Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharen Haskel and Ukrainian Ambassador Yevgeny Korniychuk. The embassy statement said that the Ukrainian ambassador supported Israel's proposal.
However, the Israeli Foreign Ministry rejected these claims, stressing that the state's policy on supplying weapons to Ukraine has not changed.
"The reports are baseless. There is no change in Israel's policy on this matter," the ministry said in a statement.
It was noted that Sharen Haskel's statements were her personal initiative and did not reflect official Israeli policy. Israel, in accordance with its policy, categorically refuses to supply weapons to Ukraine.

Earlier, it was reported that Swiss prosecutors were considering several lawsuits against Israeli President Isaac Herzog, accusing him of "calling for genocide in the Gaza Strip." Israel has denied the charges, citing various reasons.
