Islamic scholars call for halt to oil supplies to Israel and the US
Fifty prominent Islamic scholars from around the world have issued a fatwa calling on Muslim countries to immediately halt oil exports to Israel and the United States. They are urging governments to take concrete steps beyond mere verbal protest.
The statement by the scholars emphasized that, in addition to halting oil and gas exports, Islamic countries should also withdraw their investments in Western banks and companies. This call is being issued as a final warning to protect the honor of the Islamic Ummah and put an end to oppression.
The statement appealed: "The Ummah cannot remain silent while it has the power of oil. The supply of resources to Israel and its supporters must be stopped immediately!"
