Crimea will remain with Russia – Trump
Crimea will remain with Russia, and Zelensky knows it, but Barack Obama is to blame for the peninsula going to him. These words were taken from an interview with Time magazine by US President Donald Trump.
The US leader called his promise to end the war within 24 hours a "joke" and an "exaggeration."
In another response, Trump, as he has repeatedly done before, called Russia's war with Ukraine "Biden's war."
In the proposals presented by US Presidential Special Representative Steve Witkoff, the US is ready to recognize de facto Russian partial control over the Luhansk region and the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Kherson regions. On the territorial issue, Ukraine will only "restore control over the Kharkiv region" - Russian troops have occupied only a small part of it.
